All right, so for about five months, I had no beat in the trunk. I didn't even have a CD player for about a month and a half. I had to sell all I had to catch up on some things. Gone was the touch screen Panasonic h/u, the single 10" sub, and an amp that was always too powerful for it. I slowly got myself back up when I got a tax return. Bought another CD player to get by with, which is just one of the basic Sony models. Then I bought new door speakers, Rockford Fosgate Punch. And today, I won an auction for 2 Memphis PR 12's with a sealed box and a 500 watt class D amp, which is also the Memphis brand. It was $285 with shipping and all. Then I bought another wiring kit, of course. I'm looking forward to it, really. My first sub was a Memphis and it was pretty awesome. Now, I don't know if I overpaid or not, but I don't really care. I want something different, and not those same shitty Sony Xplodes everyone around here has. I honestly don't know anyone with Memphis around here. Now then. I want to know if I should replace the 5x7's (6x8's) in the rear deck while I've got the money, or get a better h/u first, and which brand might be the best in general or for that setup (below $350, lol) . Also, if I do replace the rear speakers, would it be better to go with the same brand and model, or a different brand so I can get different frequencies and sound? That's pretty much it. I'm just trying to make conversation, I am kind of bored right now.
