Sounds like I was in a similar position that you are now, so I'll fill you in. I got a 30. I hated the science section though. I got ~34 on every section but the science section, which I got like a 20 on (ouch). If it weren't for that section I would have gotten an amazing score. That's why my SAT was so much better than my ACT. I had a 4.00 with mostly AP's my last two years in high school. Decent mix of community service, sports, and extracurricular activities. And I had a strong record in the employment field due to my own business. My essay was pretty good, I suppose. I was easily able to get into schools like the University of Richmond, the University of Puget Sound (where I go now), Southern Methodist University, and Creighton University (where I'm probably transferring to). But I was placed on the waiting list for Washington University in St. Louis (one of the most selective universities in the country). My EFC was like 1000. So MOST of these schools were willing to give me close to a full ride. I was able to get into my state school on a full ride based on merit alone. Also, if you don't get what you want in terms of aid, have your parents CALL the financial aid office. I got an additional $7,000 worth of aid for this year by doing so. In short, yes, you have a good score PM me if you have any college questions
