I am very new to the car audio scene. I am actually building a full size touch screen jukebox (Home Use).I am thinking of using 4X POLK AUDIO DB6501 DB Series 6.5" COMPONENT SPEAKERS, Along with a POLK AUDIO MM1240DVC 12" for a single sub. I am using Polk because they also make great home audio equipment. And I need a name that can carry itself from car audio as well as home. I also thought about JL Audio, and Infinity. My question is what is a good 5 channel amp that won't break the bank? I was also thinking about the Polk PAD5000.5. But no one is ever going to see the amp inside the Jukebox so I was wondering what is the Best 5 channel amp for the money? I know the RMS on the speakers say they are 100 RMS on the 6.5" components, and 425 RMS on the 12" sub. But it seems like from reading you can't believe everything the manufacturers claim. I would like to keep my budget under $300 for the amp. I also thought about running two amps, but since we are already running a power conversion from 110V to 12V I would like to keep it to one amp. We have a 100 amp 12V independent rail it will be powered from. Any input would be great! Like I said I am new to the car audio scene. Thanks to all for any help!
