If you pay the $ for a JL or in my case my Aura NS, you have a piece of gear that will "probably" last a lot longer. So as an investment it may make sense to some.On the other hand, some of us change setups so often it just doesn't make sense to invest in the higher end when there are many options nearly as good, or better at a lower price point.Also, some of us (I'll include myself) get a warm, fuzzy feeling knowing they bought into the high end. There's a security I feel that my Diamond amp and sub will take the beating of the Arizona heat a little easier than the MA audio amp I started with that was constantly in protect mode during the summer months.</blockquote>
