<blockquote data-quote="FeTTo" data-source="post: 1176756" data-attributes="member: 541018">anyone own one of these amps? i have it running my 12W7 for the past year. the 2nd day i owned the amp it broken, the w7 rattled the insides completely apart and lucky my dealer exchange it for me, well 1 year later my W7 just kicked out. i hooked it up in my buddys truck with a jl500.1 and the sub works perfectly fine. i just replaced my rca&#039;s on saturday with rockford rca&#039;s cuase my tsunamis broke, the connectors snapped right off. so my last option must be the amplifier is bad againanyone have this amp and have problems with it? its been great till that 2nd day i had it and then got a new one and now this.&nbsp; i pulled the h/u out, checked the rca&#039;s no crimps anywhere, nothing that can be messing up the signal, amp powers on fine, green light comes on, no protect light. the sub BARELY moves it just like vibrates like a cellphone, and u can hear it farting when u put ur ear to it, but when its hooked up in another car it sounds amazing. so all i can think of is it is the amp. rca&#039;s are brand new like i said, remote wire is running off a switch, the switch was acting up a few times, but i dont think the switch would **** it up, unless its not getting enough voltage which ill have to test with the multimeter tonight. the H/U is an alpine 9831 which has been acting funny lately as well, its been locking up, sometimes i get static for no reason out of the blue and then it goes away..think maybe the preouts in the headunit ****ed up? im just out of options, i spent the last 45 minutes at work trying to figure out wtf the problem is, and its driving me crazyeverything in the truck is jl, the components, the 2channel the sub amp the sub, and jl is closed to, cant even get their tech support, this pisses me off</blockquote>
