Hey all. I took the amp to the local car audio shop and had it tested. The subs were blown and the amp went into protection mode. It was too much power for those little subs. But The amp does work AND I got a refund from the seller for $550. So I only paid around $100 for the amp. I did purchase a new one (the black special edition 1000/1 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300132741859&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=020 ) So basically I got 2 1000/1 amps for about $700. I was thinking about getting 2 12w6v2 in a JL Custom ported box. Im not sure what to do with the whole amp thing though. Could I hook both of the amps up to the subs like one amp per sub or would that be too much?
