If that's all the current you need they probably do a decent job.

Well it's either that or a yellow top. Both are about the same price. I'll be drawing around 160-170 amps, but I can't afford a bigger alt.

Check my understanding. A yellow top will provide more volts, but will eventually run dry with my tiny stock alt (70 amp), but a bigger alt will keep everything good and charged but won't be able to keep the voltage as high when playing at full volume. Do I need to go over ohm's law?

A battery won't provide volts, it supplies current. The alternator is what regulates to voltage when the car is running.
