Shes using a remote desktop not a VPN to the network. she can view and modify but they still remain on the remote computer so she wont be able to print. You can run a VPN where her computer is connected to the network so she can view the files on her machine and print them, cause you need to keep in mind even though she can see them now she really isnt viewing them on her computer she is using her computer as a screen to the other computer.
