Anyways I got my new headunit and speakers in today and went to install them in the jeep. I roughly tied in the wires to see that the radio worked and the speakers worked. Had it hooked up and it played music from the radio fine. I then put put a different speaker on to see how it sounded. Worked for about 30 seconds and then the music stops playing and all I hear is a buzzing/screeching sound. I checked all the connections unhooked everything and reconnected and nothing. Tried different inputs nothing. Messing with the volume does not affect the sound at all. I am not a sound guy so I am stumped. What am I doing wrong? Is my headunit a lemon? Please help, its frustrating to wait for this stuff to get here and hook it up and not have it work.
