If I can't find this adapter, which I cannot find online so far, nor any info to what it is (probably partially due to the fact that I don't know the correct term for that kind of connector), does anyone know if and/or how to hardwire the remote turn on wire to that 2-pin connector? Maybe a short and quick tutorial on the easiest and safest way to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.
My friend just acquired an old school Alpine 3552 4/3/2 ch amp. Somehow, we never noticed until we were almost done hooking it up, but the amp has a 2-pin molex connector for the remote turn on wire. I've never seen this before, but this is also the oldest amp I've installed. The guy I called at Best Buy said I have to contact Alpine for some adapter.
