The DSC1000.1 is the right amp for the OP. It fits his budget, it'll power a single dual 4 ohm Type R perfectly and he can add another Type R at any point in the future should he decide to. For the money involved, he'd be hard pressed to do better. If you don't think those things make the DSC more desireable to the OP than the MRP-M500, you clearly have problems.</p><p></p><p>And please learn how to use the quote function, newbie.
