Generally people running a substage will not run rear fill or will just run it off the HU. But this is a very touchy subject. I personally will be doing what you plan on doing and amplifying the front while leaving the rear off of the HU.And just because you can't push the speakers to the max doesn't mean they won't work. Pheonix Gold states a minimum of 5 watts to get them moving, so anywhere from 5-150 they will work. I'm not sure of any comps that take less than that much power or so, so I don't know.</blockquote>
