I got a Kicker solo baric L5 (4omhs W/ DVC) and am paring up with a alpine MRX M110. Just wondering if this is going to over power the sub to much or if i should not worry. The sub is good for 1200 max and 600 rms The amp puts out 1100 watts rms at 2omhs and 650 rms at 4 omhs. From what i know you cant wire a 4 omh sub to 4 omh load. If you do parralle wiring it will make it a 2omh load correct? If that is correct is 1100 watts rms going to be to much for the sub or if i set my gain low will it be alright? Also i was just wondering what i should set my lpf to? I was thinking about 80 to start? Thanks
