Message: <blockquote data-quote="Ricktc" data-source="post: 371908" data-attributes="member: 549598"><p>Anything over 100 Hz for a subwoofer setup is way too high.  Most SPL meters won't even pick up SPL at frequencies over 100 Hz.  The way to get a lower peak is to tune your box WAY lower, by making the port(s) longer.  Are you going primarily for SPL or do you want any SQ as well?  I would tune around 45-55 for pure SPL and 37-44 for a mix of SQ and SPL.</p></blockquote><p></p>
