Message: <blockquote data-quote="joshpoints" data-source="post: 316370" data-attributes="member: 546465"><p>I didn't know that emerson was still around.  The last I heard and this was a while ago they merged with Scott.  Boy scott made some great systems.  My dad bought a Scott home stereo years ago and the thing is still amazing.  The receiver went out but the speaker are amazing.  It's got 4 12" sized speakers, but I think two are passive or something, because they don't move as much as the 12" that sits above them.  There are two 12's in each speaker tower. It's amazing.</p></blockquote><p></p>
