Sorry if this has been asked but I apologize. What is a good single din cheap car stereo? I'm wanting to buy a CD player for my 1986 Chevy S10, I had an older Alpine single din in it, my younger brother let me have, the CD player would work sometimes and wouldn't, I didn't care it was free. I had a bad car accident recently and I couldn't drive my S10 for three months, and the Alpine had something happen to it, no sound comes from any speaker, the unit works, the menus come up but no sound at all. I replaced the Alpine with the factory delco cassette player that came in it, but I want something that plays cd's. I've done a lot of looking and reading online and the problem I face is, I just want a unit that has a touch screen, USB, SD card slot, and a aux port and all I find about a unit I am interested in is, its crap. I am not going to be hooking up amps or subs, just to the factory speakers that came in my truck and I'm happy. Right now I'm drawing a check from workers compensation, my workplace is going to fire me after the doctors release me off my medical release, so ill have no job and so I don't have a big budget and really shouldn't be spending money on a radio for my truck but the idea of having a new toy is awesome. I'm looking at a budget of $50-$100 but I could go up to $150 but really not comfortable with that. All I want to do is be able to listen to a CD, have other ways to listen to music also, maybe have the convenience of hands free phone calling, I am not hooking up a thousand dollar system. I appreciate your help.
