Basically the guy said that the space between the magnet and the box wall is only a heat issue if you are powering the subs with a lot of wattage. I dont even think half an inch would be a worry with an amp distrubuting 300 watts between 2 subs.Then again this is just what Ive read and heard on and off line. I guess I'll find out when my amp comes in.</blockquote>
