It opens up your phone so you can do things Apple has locked out. I've got a low jack on my phone that comes in handy. Also being able to shoot video on my phone as well as being able to view flash files on the internet has it's advantages to non-jailbroken phones. From what I've heard about the warranty for the phone and the iPod is that you're pretty much SOL anyways so why not make it a more functional device?</p></blockquote><p></p>
