[QUOTE="UndercoverPunk, post: 4353734, member: 554673"] So... Tuesday... I'm coming home from school after weight lifting class. I was particularly winded, and even felt a bit nauseated and thirsty. I had been drinking water throughout my work out, but it seemed like I couldn't get enough. I also hadn't eaten that morning. I left to go home to get something to eat and go to sleep (I'd only slept 5 hours the night before and really didn't have anything going on anyway.) As soon as I got on the highway I felt my hands starting to tingle a bit. about halfway home my left hand is locked up and my arm is starting to draw in, and my abs are starting to lock up. Getting on the exit ramp my left arm is completely locked in to my body in the traditional "I'm retarded" pose, my abs are FULLY locked and my right arm is starting to go into full lock down. (I'd have pulled over already, but there isn't much of a shoulder, and I'm not to keen on getting my wagon's *** packed while I'm having a medical freak out.) By the time I get off the ramp and into the nearest gas station, both of my arms are completely locked into my body, my abs are locked, my legs are stiffening, and my jaw, neck, lips are loosing control. I had to use EVERY ounce of everything I had to turn into the gas station. I got the car parked in a respectable manner, used my hips to position my body so I could put the car in park and shut off the ignition. I'm sitting there in the parking lot, getting a LOT of weird looks, hanging out of my open door curled up like I should be permanently in a wheelchair. Finally a guy pulls up next to me and I get him to come over with a mangled mess of words and he chills there with me until it goes away, which probably took 5-10 more minutes. I called a family member to take me to the hospital, locked the car up and left. I get to the hospital and wait in the ER, for.... a long time. The doctor basically asks me 5 times what drugs I took and then when he realized he wasn't getting anywhere with that told me it was probably a potassium or electrolyte imbalance. They tested my blood, said everything looked normal, and discharged me. So pretty much... no explanation. So... I'm just wondering... anyone ever had anything like this happen? Heard of it happening to anyone else? I'd had a similar experience about 2.5 years prior, but thought it was food poisoning. No, I don't do drugs. For those of you who are simply looking for a laugh, think this, but more painful/tense, with blood vessels popping out everywhere.
