I've been a member at http://www.srtforums.com since may of last year, on that site everyday, and waiting to get my SRT-4. Until then i have a 05 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS in which i have 2 12" DUAL subs in a bandpass box, with a rockford fosgate 3002 (300 watt) amp powering them. It's my first system, and im still new to the game. I know its kind of knock off brands, but i was going to get either xplod or punch subs, and this DUAL bandpass system kicked them out of the water easy. It hits much harder than i expected, and blows my friends 2 15" xplod's and my other friends 2 12" JL W0's out of the water, i have no idea how (stock headunit btw, for now). Soon i will be doing tint, crap load of dynamat, and a new headunit. I haven't been too speedily been wanting to replace the headunit because my mids and highs are just as good as my lows, i guess I'm just lucky! But i have a few questions in regarding to installation. Installation costs are anywhere from $60-$150 in my area for the trunk kit, not even the bulk kit in the trunk, so I'm not tempted to do that, but rather install it myself. I noticed some places however that would lead me to be confused on how to place the dynamat around them or on them. Here are some pics i've taken. On the deck lid, i may have to find something else, because of all the wires and whatever else is up there, even a gigantic black thing.
