I'm getting what I believe are voltage drops but the problem is interesting. #1 it is at certain points only when bass hits and the bass cuts out completely but not immediately. (it fades out) #2 It seems to only happen at specific frequencies. Some songs with BLAIR the bass around 30-45hz it sounds like by ear. But others poop out miserably. I know its not the enclosure because at 1/2 volume the response is very flat. I have bypassed the amp's crossovers and boosts because i like to control it at the HU. #3 It seems to happen worst when the song has a continuous bass line then has short bursts of bass added in (such as "go DJ" by lil wayne. On the other hand, the song "Who run it?" by Three 6 Mafia seems to do fine. The system has a JBL14001 running to a 2.66 ohm load of 3 10w6v2's. (in my sig.) I hooked up a 25 farad cap I had laying around but surprise surprise that didn't work. Stock electrical. 4gauge wire. I went to do the big 3 but this car already has 2runs of 8 gauge each! So obviously that can be improved but I doubt its causing my voltage drop problem now. I'm thinking my battery might be going weak, it hasn't ever been replaced. Either that or some electrical problem that is eluding me. Any ideas?
