The thick red wire is the power to the amp. The black is the ground, it probably goes to a ground somewhere in the trunk. THe thin purple wire is the amp turn on wire. It connects to the back of the head unit to turn on the amp. Im not sure what the other wire is under the hood. I dont think it was anything to do with the amp.</p></blockquote><p></p>
