Hey, how ya doin'? Cool, listen... I have a used 1994 Eagle Vision Esi. Ever heard of it? Neither did I until my mom bought it and handed me the keys. It's...eh, it's all right. Pretty decent. Sure, there are a few issues but I have plans for 'em all, so no worries. One of the issues I just really want to take care of, though, is getting rid of the factory radio. But see, I really like doing things myself. Good learning experience, you know? Anyway, the problem is that I am a complete noob as it comes to this. Never installed a media player in a car---never installed anything into a car, really. I purchased a Sony head unit (CDX-GT56UI) because I heard it's a good bang for my buck. Now, as it rests on top of my desk, I'm left thinking "now what?" So, yeah...now what? How do I start this? I found a wiring diagram for my car (you could find it too; quick Google search), if that's a start. Oh, one quick question before I potentially attack with an onslaught of questions: 1. Do I NEED to buy a radio wiring diagram for this? I mean, I don't really mind forking over $11, but I'd just like to know if it's absolutely necessary. Okay, I actually have to go to class, but hopefully I'll get a reply by the time I get back? Or by tommorow, whatever. Later!
