Here's the scoop: My girlfriend is out in Vegas for the weekend and I borrowed her car to do an "oil change" while she's gone. So far, the car has gotten a 1.5" drop, new rims, interior speakers and subwoofer. Anyhow, I've got everything in and looking good. Interior speakers are working fine but I can't get anything out of the subwoofer. The ground is good on the amp and I DO have a turn on lead hooked up. (I know those are two things a lot of newbs forget.) I've used a volt meter and I get voltage at the power/ground terminals, the speaker output terminals, off the rcas, off the end of the speaker wire into the sub box, off the end of the wire from the sub box to the woofer. The woofer checks out okay by "popping" it with a 9v battery, so that's not blown. The sub level is adjusted all the way up for testing purposes on the headunit. I've messed with the gain and crossover on the amp and get nothing throughout the entire range. The only thing I can think of is that the rca plugs on the amp are bent a little from my last install (this amp is incredibly old... Cadence Ultra Drive for those in the know wink.gif ) and maybe the amp isn't receiving the signal from the head unit? I tried to wiggle the RCA's while they were connected to see if it was a shitty connection and it didn't change the scenario. I'm at a loss. The amp is in "run mode" meaning no diagnostic light. What the hell can it be? What else can I check? I may try another amp of mine to see if that is the problem. Any help would be appreciated!
