I ordered a PG Xenon 600.1 from these guys and I've been waiting over three weeks and it still hasn't been shipped. I made the mistake of buying from these guys before I found all of the negative information on them. Well, i cancelled my order and I'm waiting to see a refund. Now that I need to shop for an amp again I figured I'd look at some other options. I will be powering 2 IDQ 10's dvc 4ohms. I would like to stay in the $250 range. I don't need a ton of power, 600 watts will be plenty. I'll keep my eyes on the classifieds, if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I hope it doesn't take them as long to refund my money as it does for them to ship products.

plenty of threads just like this., They're not the greatest business, they have had many problems in the past.

Yep, searched AFTER buying. Who researches AFTER purchasing, I guess I was asking for trouble. Lesson learned!

So does anyone have any suggestions of an amp for around $250? I would much rather have a higher quality, more reliable amp that has a bit less power, than an amp that is powerful but may or may not last long. 600 watts is ideal but I'd rather buy a nice 400 watt amp than an ok 600+ watt amp.

Yeah I ordered 4 memphis pr's from indo a few years ago and took over a month to get them . Never buy from them again . What I don't get is that their feedback on ebay is pretty high .

Fosgate.. t5001bd Can get on e-bay for around 200.00

Very nice amp...rated at 500 watts at 1 ohm actually does around 1000 at 1 ohm...

No idea where you're getting 1000 @ 1ohm.... thats probably the max power rating.... i can see the birthsheet hitting respectable 600 something, but 1000 is way over what you will get.

You talking about the fosgate I suggested ? They do close to a 1000 rms at 1 ohm at 14.5 volts . Very underated amps
