Message: <blockquote data-quote="brown7348" data-source="post: 7752770" data-attributes="member: 641704"><p>I actually just rebuilt a buddys 2 12'' ported box the other day with almost exactly the same measurements, it had a 2.75x15 port in the center and only had like 8in of port on each side of the single port, so i pulled the whole front plate off and built a 2.5x15 in port at one end of the box and made the port somewhere around 22to24 inches long, torres calculator said 32hz before dropping the subs in, since we were aiming for around 35-40hz it was good, he took the ported box out before this build due to them just sounding like sh** and put a sealed box which was worse, when i finished and got the new ported box in the car he got in and turned it up and was amazed at the difference, my opinion all prefab boxes are junk, made to make a good sub sound like fat farts lol...</p></blockquote><p></p>
