[QUOTE="g30ffr3y, post: 590218, member: 556438"] sure they have dust caps... with the RE logo on them... ive actually taken the subs out of my car... i pushed on the cone and it was sort of rough and scratchy... i then took them out of the box itself... and when they were flat on the floor... if i pushed in on the very center of them... they did not make any scratchy sound... nor were they rough... its only when you push on them on a little angle that they scratch... otherwise they look fine... brand new... i have a hard time believing i could have blown them... i got them october 19th... and i dont even have an amp that can push them more than 550 a piece... and the amp has NEVER been up that far... even my crossover was ridiculously low... its a memphis 1100 watt at 1ohm dealy... which brings me to this... could it be the amp?
