I know this guy that thinks he know EVERYTHING about car audio. I told him I ordered a had someone build me a box tuned to 35Hz, and he tells me "Thats too low man, youre gonna blow it. For a 12 you need it tuned to like 60 or 70." He was talking about the LPF . So I told him you can get a box thats tuned to a certain frequency, and he says no, he claims that every box is the same, just the bigger the port the louder it is... So then I showed him my new amp, JBL BP600.1, and I told him my subs are getting 300w each right now, and sound a hell of a lot better than they did with my Audiobahn amp. Then he tells me since its a JBL ("good amp" ), 600w means that each speaker is getting 600w, and not 300 each, because you dont divide it. He said that with the gain set all the way up you can have 600w to each sub. Just thought I would share this.. I am bored and he is an idiot. And you cant tell him hes wrong...
