Hi all first post. I'm looking for ideas for a sub in a 14 Silverado. Pretty much all solutions are a box that goes under the rear seat in the back of the crew cab. Problem is I have two large dogs back there and I keep the bottoms of the seat rests folded up. My thoughts were to get something made up to sit on the transmission hump up front as the area is open because it is a bench model. Is this a viable idea? Keep in mind I am not looking to spend a ton I just want a decent sounding system compared to stock. Other then that I could have a box in the back as long as the wires were not exposed as wet, possibly muddy paws will be all over the place back there. As well as it being bolted down and able to withstand dogs walking all over it. Other options are, and I don't think this would be very good. But replacing the rear door speakers with small subs. At this point ideally I will get a 5 channel amp mounted to the back wall of cab, replace the speakers and hopefully get a sub in there somehow. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
