Hey guys. New to the forum. Just got a new car not too long ago and I'm trying to plan out a decent setup in my 2012 cts coupe. It has some what of a small trunk which is downside to my setup. Looking at building a 4 cubic foot ported box at the biggest. I've been using rockford amps and subs but unfortunately my 1500bd amp just blew after 10 years of use. Decided to give my 12" t2s to my girl for her car so I'm looking at a fresh start. Haven't decided on a setup yet but thinking of either 1 15 or 2 12s since I'm limited to trunk space. Been out of the loop for years as far as brands go so I'm here to get some opinions on sub brands to use. I figured I would stick with rockford amps since I've had great experience with them. Looking at around 1500 rms to push the subs in a ported box. Any ideas? I'm looking for a nice balance between sq and spl and would like to spend less than 800 on subs alone.
