I just got done installing my new stuff in my 2000 Grand Cherokee. Here is what I put in: - Box is 4.5 cubes net tuned to 32 hz with 70 sq in of port area - 2 12" IA LIs - 12 gauge speaker wire - 0 gauge power and ground - Pioneer DEH6000ub head unit - Hifonics BXi1608D I haven't done too much in the way of setting the gains up properly yet so it's just tuned conservatively until I get a DMM on it tonight. These things absolutely POUND and sound awesome doing it. They already get really low and play clear all the way down. To say I am impressed and satisfied is a gross understatement. I'm not seeming to get much of a voltage drop and very very slight dimming at full tilt but I'm still going to do the big 3 here shortly. I did a 4 gauge ground from the battery to the chassis already. Next up is definitely an amped set of components as the subs really drown out the highs on some of the songs I have listened to. I would give these subs a 10/10 so far in all aspects. I have heard they keep sounding better and better as they loosen up so I definitely can't wait for that and to see what they can do when I set the gains up properly. Anyone looking at this company should definitely not hesitate. For the price I don't see how they could be beat.
