[QUOTE="Arawak420, post: 1766720, member: 563483"] i beleive i found the problem. last night i tested the pole at the battery and they read 12.63v. i disconnected the inline anl fuse that leads to the distro block and the 2 amps. i did this to see if the battery was still going to drain and if the battery drained any then i knew it was in the stereo somewhere. well i woke up this morning and the poles read 12.40v, which i then knew i had to find the culprit in the HU. i had the ACC wire wired to the constant Battery wire instead of to the ignition switch so i could listen while the car was off w/out the key in the ignition. i found that this ACC being wired straight to the Batteries constant wire was draining the battery eventhough the stereo was off. i disconnected the ACC wire and the stereo wouldn't power up at all. so i got a test light and tested a few wires around the loose wires that were previously used for the stock radio. with the key in the ignition turned to the ACC postion i found a hot wire that stays on when the key is in and not hot when the key is removed which made me beleive that this was the current stock ACC wire. i used it and now i have to have the key in the ignition to listen to the radio. (not a problem though). all cool though i beleive now, when i turn my car off the stereo now turns of without me manually having to turn it off when i leave the car. it even said in the manual that if the ACC wire isn't connected to the ignition wire that it will drain the battery even when the stereo is off. so basically my batt drain was becasue i had the ACC conected to a constant hot. im going to check her tomorrow to make sure that she doesnt drop anymore than the 12.40v that she dropped to over night.....
