Well so I have this hu that I wanted to test and see if it would power on so I just cut the power(red), ground (black) which made my speakers thump like a heart beat for some reason then it stopped after 10+ beats, illumination wire(yellow), remote(blue+white) from my wiring harness that goes to my normal hu. So first I connect the ground, then i start to connect the yellow which starts to smoke so I stop, then I connect the red with no problems then the yellow with no smoking this time. It turns on everything is good then the wire slipped off so I turned everything off and I took some scissors and was cutting more shielding away from the wire and somehow one of the sides of the scissors must have hit something so it sparked. Now both of my head units will not work. Wiring them the same way I originally had them. I checked my audio fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box and it looked good(not open according to my manual) there are no audio fuses under the hood in that fuse box. I didn't hear any pops or anything so I don't know if it is even possible to have blown both fuses on both of my head units. I am at a loss at things to try now. Anybody have any suggestions or anything at all? Thank you in advance, Darren
