[QUOTE="brian84corvette, post: 4093671, member: 586635"] im not totaly against bandpass boxes, but ive been much more in to learning about diffrent types of ported boxes, t line , L ports and the likes. generaly sealed boxes will control the sub, and keep it away from distorted sounds more than a ported box will, but a ported box will play louder than sealed. if you do decide to go bandpass, please dont buy pre fab. for the bandpass box to be right it needs exact dimentions wich are calculated from the woofers you choose to put in there. o - and about the amps, im in the same looking around for one game. im almost dead set on getting a hi fonics brutis amp 1600w @1 ohm 1000w @2ohm. id rather have more amp power and keep the gain turned down a bit more on the amp, than not have enough power to feed the subs.
