Just took out my pioneer 3500 tonight to put in a new 860mp. I'm not really all that new to this, I had everything wired up to test it, everything worked. The head unit was resting funny on the shifter+parking brake then slid off when i moved a wire, causes a few lil sparks. Now the head unit wouldn't turn on. I took the wires (Yellow bat, red acc, and ground) and attached directly to the battery, HU powers up fine. Checked fuses in the car, everything SEEMS fine (you never know...) Even tried swapping some fuses as well. Checked the fuse in the yellow wire. Right now its in, and wired with the red and yellow spliced together. Powers up, works, but doesn't save settings after a few minutes of being off. I'm heading back out tommorow morning to double check fuses and crap again, I've been messing with it for like 3-4 hours, and never had this problem with Hus before that wasn't something with just the HU fuse itself. Any ideas? Suggestions? I can take pictures of everything too even, and I'm off tommorow so i have alllll day
