Message: <blockquote data-quote="MBrock4u" data-source="post: 4137720" data-attributes="member: 565492"><p>Lets back up just a miniute here.  There are various factors in skipping, cutting out ect.  I have owned 2 Kenwood Excelons.  The X-589, and currently the X-990.  I have never had a issue with either one on them.  One reason is a good install!  Very important!  I have hit some mighty big bumps out there with no problem.  Any deck will skip if you hit a big enough bump with enough force.  Obviously some decks are not very good with bumps.  I had a sony like that.  Excelons are solid, but you must make sure and do your part.  If you are having volume issues you need to look at other equipment issues.  There are always exceptions, but install is the key!  Good luck to you.</p></blockquote><p></p>
