It will filter the signal before it gets to the RCAs.The 880 also has a built-in EQ which will adjust the sound through all sets of preouts. Don't confuse an EQ with a crossover. And it won't happen automatically, you'll need to manually set the crossover points on the headunit.</blockquote>
