So much for sticking to the topic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I'd get a 2003 Nissan Z350 (maxed out).. after buying it you still have ~$40 K to work with.. that's some nice costom engine/suspension work.. trim packages, nice paint.. BOOMn' stereo.. And, after all that, I'd still have $20 K to pay off my Blazer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Caddys ****.. they are over rated, over priced, and under productive.. I have no stomache for all these 'luxury' SUVs that are HUGE.. hell, some don't even come with 4-wheel drive?? It's all about "look" now, makes me sick.. damm socker moms not likeing their mini-vans.. so they piss away tons of money for something they will almost NEVER use and waste a lot of resources for no reason (SUVs are gas hogs).. I mean, if you plan on taking your Escalade off-road (and I don't mean just down a gravel driveway, I mean OFF ROAD where you get all muddy and have to drive 'hard' through some stuff on occasion to get where you are going..), then sure.. get one.. but to have some UGLY POS just so you can brag? *shrug*
BMWs are nice.. a buddy of mine has an M3.. bent a valve on the straight 6... still runs pretty good (choppy at idle, but still gets up to 70 ok).. And, some day I'd even like to get a beemer or porche (though the 350Z beats the Boxster, so)..
I used to want a supra, then all this ricing crap started.. now I'd not drive one if it was given to me *sigh*..
As for old muscle cars.. YES, I will build one 'soon'.. but I'd rather have something more utilitarian first.. something like a beasty 68 comarro SS or 69 Chevelle SS or something (perhaps more exotic?) will be a nice toy, but like Jmac pointed out, they aren't very good handlers.. You 'can' tweek the suspension, but it will never compete with a new sports car's suspension designed from the ground up with the specific car in mind *shrug*..
