The kicker kx1200.1 is a 1 ohm stable amp, not a 2 ohm stable amp. The amp does put out 1200 rms at 1 ohm but is underrated, so you'll get a little more power if your voltage is good. There is no such amp as a zx1200.1 as well. So your set up will work fine and hit hard. i would get everything installed first then see if the cap is necessary.</p></blockquote><p></p>
