I sold one of my friends from home, my CSX with all the softparts from FI to recone it. I was away at college and he was to anxious to wait for me to recone the sub. My friend brought it to a car audio shop that is local and asked the guy if he can do it. The guy was a competitor and said he hasn't done it before but knows he can for the price of $50. Well I came home finally today and my buddy called me up saying he wants me to go with to the shop. The guy appearantly had no clue what he was doing. The guy said the recone "was not a success". The guy is still demanding the $50 though otherwise my buddy can't get the sub back. I am going to the shop tommorow but I do not have any control in this situation other than being a middle man. What would you guys do about the situation. Obviously the shop owner screwed it up and should pay to have the sub sent to FI for Scott to recone it but I guess the shop owner is a complete dick and wont except his mistakes. What would you guys do, and some serious answers would be much appreciated. Thanks
