You could have just made a simple post and asked what sub will be easyer to get a higher spl when sound quality is not a factor and let us know how much you want to spend. 1 digital designs Z line sub with 4 5k rms amps on it in the right box will get you into high 175s db on the tl 2 of them has done over a 180 on the tl and well if you want a diff sub the Atomic APXX sub upgraded to a 4" coil will take 25,000 rms for short 10-15 sec burps.
