The amp gains are already adjusted.</p></blockquote><p></p>
[QUOTE="Jer510, post: 5682968, member: 606875"] I have a Kicker 12inch CVR 4ohm sub, Quantum Audio 1000watt amp, and Alpine 9884 headunit. At first, I had this system installed without the Alpine headunit. I used the stock deck with a converter. The songs bass hit harder and throughout almost every part of the song. I decided to upgrade and buy a deck, so I bought the Alpine 9884 headunit. I got this installed, and now the songs don't hit as hard and some parts of the song don't hit like they used to. My Alpine headunit has 3 preouts with 2V. Could this be the problem, maybe the converter that I used with the stock deck had a higher preamp voltage? I got my amp and deck gain and EQ adjusted at the shop I purchased my stuff but it still doesn't sound as good. When I had the stock deck and converter running my sub and amp, the bass hit hard throughout the whole song. After I got the Alpine headunit installed and EQ and gains adjusted, the songs still slap, but not as good as they used to. Any suggestions? On my deck, the bass is at 0. The bass range is at 1. The bass bandwidth is at 80hz. The treble is at 7 and the treble bandwidth is at 12.5. Loudness is on. I am using sub system 2. Sub level is at 13 out of 15. The amp gains are already adjusted.
