[QUOTE="saltyreefguy, post: 2078025, member: 564722"] i am working on a 96 lexus es300, i have done all the install, but i want to make the trunk look real nice, with carpeted panels and such, so i want to ask you guys, what type of boards is the panels made out of partical board or mdf, thickness, etc..? and whats the name of the carpeting, fleece? also is there a way to secure the panels so thiefs don;t just pull out the panels with amps on them. also do some of guys have pics of your completed trunk, really not into fiberglass yet, so just panels. thanks ps. also what are the steps involve in doing this basic trunk setup, nothing fancy with plexiglass, is there any measuring techniques to make the job easier, the amps i have in the trunk is a ppi art series amps 1). a1200.2 2). A300.2 (2)amps, also a yellow top optima battery. ppi frx456 crossover. i really want to keep the spare tire. and still have some for the wifes shopping stuff, since its her car. thanks for any advice. thanks, for the heck of it, i asked this one guy who said that he does installs as a regular job, said he would charge 400 to do this job, since the wires are all already ran to the trunk and since i am a diy person, i rather do it myself to learn how its done. its not to impress anyone except myself.
