how to kill fleas

I gotta bunch of bites on my feet around my ankles and the wife thinks they are flea bites so she's freaking out. We don't have pets so they musta come from my friend's cat or when I was up at lowes and home depot or from the shared basement in our apartment building. Anyways, if anyone has dealt with fleas and knows how to kill'm I'd appreciate the help

Get a plate and put a mix of disk soap and water in it, then put a chair over it and clamp one of those cheap round shop lights to it over night.

Turn off all lights except the shop light overnight and you will have a small slaughter of fleas in your plate in the morning.

its not bedbugs* bites are only on my feet and bedbugs would be everywhere. I think its from when I went over my friend's house with sandals on like an idiot. His cat rubbed on my leg and the bites have shown up since that time

Yeah probably won't kill all of them but will let you know if you have them or not.. they are one reason I hope my wife never wants a dog and we always have indoor cats.

generally if you just got bit from going over your friends house, if you dont have pets they wont live long anyways i believe. they need an animal "host" to live off of. unless you have pets and then its possible they could of gotten on them.

i could be wrong but im pretty sure thats how it goes. but like said above, if you have a "flea problem" bombing is really the only way to get rid of them.

when we had fleas got this spray can stuff from the local vet sprayed in the room, worked like a charm

ive had 4 dogs in my lifetime and never once had a flea problem. keep your yard clean, animals clean and you shouldnt have a problem.
