I wondered about the ground myself and tried a diferrent location once. I will try another spot again. Mabey to the battery. The thumping that hapens occurs even when volume is supper low.. Just a steady thump thump thump. Any Ideas on speakers and blowing them if I did get another amp and bridged it. I dont really know claimed actual output/ power handling to reailty. Sony amp says 500 w rms. Kenwood 12s say 200 rms/800 peak. Also I am running two amps presently off same ground but that shouldn't matter I wouldn't think. The thumping starts happening whenever I trun the gain of either amp up to high.
