I explained why its benefits are negligent in the face of the system your son is running. Also yea I know capacitors store static charge. Capitance is the measurements of a devices ability to hold a static charge. Its in the name. What im trying to say is that a the rod top battery or any quality AGM battery will far outcompete any 5 farad capacitor regardless of the brand. A Stinger 5 farad capacitor is going to have the same capitance as a Boss 5 fard capacitor provided one isnt lying about their product. From what I can see at a quick glance on Google, Stinger 5 farad caps start out at like $170. Thats around the price of a decent AGM battery that will do a much better job at around the same price. Or could've combined the money saved from not buying the cap and added onto the battery budget and gotten Titan8 or Glowe lithium battery, or gotten an ultra capacitor which quality ones will provide hundreds of farad of capitance. Im not saying capacitors are usless. Im saying the effects one with such a low farad rating is negligible giving the power draw of your sons system, along with other upgrades you have what. Im not trying to discount your opinion, I appreciate you taking the time to comment and have a civil conversation about the subject
