[QUOTE="hispls, post: 8755888, member: 614752"] Personally I would only tune to 31hz for playing movies or with certain subs that are designed to play wide flat bandwidth tuned low (JL W7, Adire Brahma, etc.). It is very likely that making the box larger (if you have space without crowding it anywhere) you could go up to 4 cube and tune a bit higher. 36-38hz tuning will get you more output where most of the EDM music bass notes happen. It's not like your box stops playing right at tuning so if you tune to 31hz you'll be able to play down probably to 26-27. I have not found any of that style music that contains anything near that low. Tuning @36 should control the sub down to around 30 which covers just about anything you'll run into on normal-speed music. Consider also if you make the box too big it is easy to shrink volume later by adding 45 degree pieces to corners or similar, and if you get creative there are a few relatively simple ways to modify tuning to experiment and see what sounds best for you.
