[QUOTE="dsturbd, post: 5084019, member: 596707"] Alright, I work at Wendy's I started 7 months ago, making $7.50, I have got employee of the month and everyone likes me their, the General Manager really likes me says I am a hardworker, I have heard from several friends/employees that she talks about me often and how much she enjoys me being here and I am one of her favorites etc. So I was talking to my friend who worked their tonight and he overheard some of the new people talking about pay, they said they were getting $8 and some of these people, are very dumb one girl didn't even know what a extension cord was and how to use it when she was cleaning the lobby, so the first few nights she only cleaned half of it, another girl is really fat in the way and wore a hairnet over her upper face (eyes) didn't even know how to put it on, she wore it for over one hour till someone told her she had it on incorrect, and to think these people are getting paid $8 really makes me sick, I have had two other friends ask for raises, either writting letter or just talking to them, both successful and are now making $8.50, when they were making $7.75 previously. So my question is, how can I go about asking for a raise, what should I say, I have a good idea on how to approach her, and I am 90% sure I will get it, but I wanted to know your thoughts, thanks.
