so I got a free brand new audio pipe eq-7x and I want to hook it up. 2 questions.... im just wondering if I can cut into my existing 12 wire to my deck ( an inch or so from the deck) and tie in the power wire for the eq? and same for the sensor. will this be or cause a short? also their is only one main input on the eq, and my deck has 2 out puts, 1 for sub ("s") and 1 for ("f") front?. but the eq has three outputs, front, rear, and sub, it also has a separate knob for sub level, my question is, what is the best way be to hook it up? from the "front output" on the deck to the "main input" on the EQ? than use the all the outputs on the eq? oh btw would the EQ filter out just the bass and be better than hooking up the subs directly from the deck "sub output"? thanks, i hope this makes sense
