This has nothing to do with car audio but I had to share it. I was browsing and came across a 11" squared home subwoofer with a 10" driver. The biggest surprise was when I saw it had a 2700 watt amp built into it....check it out. It is a Sunfire "True Subwoofer" The link is

It's been out for years. Made by Bob Carver. He use to have his own line (Carver) then moved to Sunfire around 1998-99. It's not the best sub out there (arguable I think Velodine is) but man can it pound. Feels like a heart attack when it hits.

Check this sub out. Aparently he once turned it up to loud and cracked his ceiling.

Look at some of the other pictures. There is some absolutely amasing stuff. Some of those speakers cost more than most houses.

i saw 2 of these yesterday in ultimate electronics

they both had 2 subs in about a cubic foot box

none of the subs would move over ' ' that far lol

im sure they'll really pound though

I would argue though that I could get a louder, better-sounding COMPLETE SYSTEM for 26 G's!!! that's insane...

hooly crap is right wonder how much power it can take, btu i have always loved Carver and Crown amps, i wish I could afford them for my house
